  3. Number of participants • Number of participants: 17 (instead of 26)

Departure • Sunday April 17 2011. • Gather at Utrecht Central Station(below the blue “departures” board) • Do not forget your passport or ID card and programme booklet! • Maximum weight of luggage is 20 kg. • Inform us in time by e-mail if you will not depart from Utrecht. • Train tickets from Utrecht Central to Schiphol Airport will be paid for by PI. • Let us know your type of OV-card.

  6. Packing list • Passport or ID card • Programme booklet • Medicine (and prescriptions) • Food and drinks for the trip to Barcelona • Questions for thematic report • Representative clothing • Sunscreen

  7. Clothing • Wear appropriate and representative clothing and shoes to our visits.

  8. During the tour... • We expect you to be dressed appropriately, show your interest and be alert and awake during the visits. • We expect you to show respect to all people, as we are guests in a foreign country. • We expect you to help the PI committee in doing chores. • Gather information for the final report. • Contact the PI committee for questions, remarks or complaints. • We expect you not to let the intake of alcohol interfere with the previous points.

Thematic reports • Article of ± 1000 words. • Divide theme in several questions. • Gather information before the tour. • Gather most information during the tour by interviewing relevant persons. • Deadline: May 16, 2011 (Monday) • Presentations at information meeting 3 (in April) • Student life • Difference in culture • The future of chemistry in Spain • Knowledge economy in Spain

  10. Day reports • Report of the visits or activities of the day. • Articles of 500 words. • Work in couples. • Deadline: May 16, 2011 (Monday) • ICFO & PRBB • IQAC & IRB • AkzoNobel • City Tour Barcelona, Easter and Sant Jordi • UAB • UB & trip to Tarragona • ICIQ & URV • DOW
