  30. CHALLENGE VERSE MATTHEW 5:11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

  31. DO MISSIONARIES DESTROY CULTURE?

  32. ABSOLUTELY

  33. CHRISTIANITY CARRIED BY THE APOSTLES, IS THE BASIS FOR MOST EUROPEAN AND NORTH AMERICAN CIVILIZATION, HUMAN RIGHTS, GOVERNMENT AND LAW

  34. MANY OF THE FAMOUS VICTORIAN MISSIONARIES WERE NOT, IN FACT MISSIONARIES. THEY WERE EXPLORERS AND WERE NOT SENSITIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE THEY TRIED TO CONVERT ALONG THE WAY. THEY BELIEVED THAT EUROPEAN CHRISTIANITY AND CULTURE WAS GOD’S ONLY PLAN FOR EVERY NATION.

  35. SOME RANDOM NEGATIVE COMMENTS Missionaries do good things. They feed the poor, they help build houses and schools. They give away clothing and money to the needy.

  36. SOME RANDOM NEGATIVE COMMENTS….cntd This makes them no different from the Red Cross. What makes them more insidious is their horrific indoctrination of the masses. They take advantage of the lack of education and poverty of the people they are helping.

  37. SOME RANDOM NEGATIVE COMMENTS….cntd The missionaries’ primary objective is to use works in order to indoctrinate the people. They believe they have a right to fly to other countries and tell people how they should be living.

  38. SOME RANDOM NEGATIVE COMMENTS….cntd What bothers me the most is that these people come back to their church and feel good about what they’re doing while the children that really needed help are still starving.

  39. SOME RANDOM NEGATIVE COMMENTS….cntd Why must there be strings attached? Why can’t these people just travel to Africa and help the needy out of the goodness of their heart?

  40. SOME RANDOM NEGATIVE COMMENTS….cntd They are really just nosey, judgmental tourists !!

  41. CLASS DISCUSSION • Do you find any truth in this? • Does it matter what other people think • If so, how could you change their impression ?
