  1. Technical Assistance for Native American Health Clinics California Department of Health Care Services Indian Health Programs Consultants: Barbara Aragon & Calvin Freeman

  2. Best Practices in Emergency Preparedness • Provide two regional (2 day), emergency preparedness training (Spring 08), for AI health clinic personnel responsible for emergency preparedness. Trainings will focus on building partnerships and working with local public health. (# of trainings has been expanded to 3)

  3. Continue to provide TA for staff at 8 AI primary care clinics regarding Pandemic Influenza preparedness.

  4. Provide on-site technical assistance to staff at 8 primary care AI clinics who did not receive previous on-site training to monitor their emergency preparedness plan.

  5. Provide Emergency Preparedness Awareness trainings at Tribal community meetings. • Complete administrative requirements

  6. Assist clinical personnel in implementing use of the Surge Capacity materials from State EPO. • Offer staff at 8 AI clinics an in-service in the use of the Surge Capacity materials. • Standards and Guidelines Manual • Operational Tools • Training Curriculum

  7. Conduct 3 regional workshops at AI clinics in California to train clinical staff and the Tribal communities to collaborate and prepare for an all hazards plan.
