Agility Needed to be able to change direction for an effective dodge, to be able to stop suddenly when receiving a pass. Speed needed to move into space, attack on a centre pass and keep up with opposing player Balance When landing after a jump need to maintain balance so you don’t perform footwork. When defending may need to reach up on one leg to get maximum height. Muscular Endurance needed as muscles in the arms and legs are repetitively used (passing the ball, jumping etc.) Reaction time Responding to unexpected situations e.g. dropped balls, rebounds and deflections
