  2. Introduction Do you now what kills more people then a great white shark? It can be 2 feet long. If you guessed a piranha then you are right. You will learn about the piranhas physical characteristics habitat and adaptations in this report.

  3. Physical Characteristics The piranha has a lot of different physical characteristics. For example piranhas can even grow to be 2 feet long. The next fact is piranhas have a face with a very large lower jaw. Finally, the piranha has razor-sharp teeth. If you see a fish like this, stay away!

  4. Habitat Strangely, the piranha lives in many different habitats. Piranhas are fresh water fish. You can find piranhas in streams or lakes. They live in places like Northern Brazil, Hawaii, Central and North America.

  5. Adaptations The piranha’s adaptations can be creepy. For example, piranhas can cut and tear apart their prey. They can do that with their small triangular razor-sharp teeth and powerful jaws. Lastly, they have a blunt snout to attack and bite.
