  5. Reproduction May - June Move To Slower Moving Water Female Lay Up To 1000 90% Survive Both Male Female Guard The Eggs Once They Hatch The Baby Piranhas Swim At The Bottom Where They Hide Beneath The Plants The Parents Don’t Guard The Baby Piranhas After The Hatch
