Hello Coach Alderson, • My name is Someone and I am very interested in your soccer program. I am a Senior at Whatever High School in NearHere, Texas, Class of 2012. I have been searching for a college to further my education and Texas Lutheran University is one of my preferred choices. I would like to let you know that I am just returning from an injury and going at it full force. The day I was released for full contact, I headed to the soccer field to pick up a practice with a team that was not mine, but was within our club (Internacional)! I was originally told my recovery time was 7-9 months, but I trained and rehabbed extremely hard since I was able to start walking again without crutches and was so excited when the surgeon told me to “Go Play Soccer Girl!“ 4 days prior to 6 months from my surgery date! Within a week and a half, I played in 3 scrimmages and 4 full games in Houston. I am sharing this info with you because I wanted to stress that the passion, love and drive that I have for this sport is like nothing else.
