Riddle of the Sphinx At 431 B.C, Sophocles, one of the most celebrated tragedy writers, wrote his most representative masterpiece Oedipus, in which there was a famous myth Riddle of the Sphinx. Figure from baidu.com.
Inspirations Enlightenment on this riddle teaches us that life is not a static course, but gradually changing from alive to dead. And the most important, however, death doesn’t dissociate from life, yet it is an inalienable entity of one’s life. Meanwhile, Oedipus solved the riddle under the threaten to death however.
