  9. After that, Mari Yoko was alienated from Lily, for they are no longer that intimate as before. Lily feels very strange, and cannot figure out where is wrong.

  10. Choices A. Because the gift that Lily brought was too cheap, thus failing to show enough respect to Mari Yoko’s family. B. Because Lily didn’t insist on cooking for them for their refusal was just being polite, not true to their heart.

  11. C. Because Lily shouldn’t have insisted on Mari showing her around for Japanese attach great importance to their privacy. D. Lily shouldn’t have let Mari sent to the bus stop for she should have gone home on herself.
