Current Issues - Roaming • Difficult to navigate • No roaming info of any kind on CDG home page • No direct link to roaming • No PRL Tools link (should have a PRL Tools banner) • Non-member Roaming section • Out-dated content and organization of this section • Need to add PRL Tools to this section also • Members-only section • No direct link to Roaming (in CDG Members-only home page) • Reorganization or roaming section required • Need to update content

  3. CDG Home Page • Better highlight Roaming • Add direct link to Roaming section (open, non-member) • Add PRL Tool-suite Banner • Add IRT Meeting Banner or link • Add roaming bullet to Quick Market Facts

Roaming Section (open access) • Should NOT be in the CDMA Technology section • Need to update the following sub-sections: • Roaming Resources • Roaming Glossary, PRL Tools, White Papers, Contacts, New Roaming Glossary from BrianG, more recent presentations • International Roaming Coverage • Any ideas on how this can be improved? • Roaming Events • Update and at least add Upcoming IRT Meetings • Latest news • Beef up this area

  8. 1) Scrolls down to 3 pages. Need to divide in smaller sub-sections that fit in roughly one page: • Documentation • Tools • Glosssary • Contacts • 2) Need to update sidebar and content (sub-section under Roaming Resources) • 3) Should include Roaming Glossary (Brian G)???

  9. Latest Roaming event listed is from 2005!!!

  10. Need to beef up a bit. Pretty sure we can come up with more than two roaming news items in 4 months!!!

Members-only Section • Member Home page (after member sign-in): • Add direct Roaming links • On side bar • On content area – with short description • Roaming members-only section • Can get to this section via (www.cdg.org/irt) or by clicking on “new” roaming direct link in member home page • Need significant reorganization of content and side-bar areas • Create sub-sections to make navigation easier • Each sub-section should fit roughly in one page • Archive or delete old or outdated content

  13. 1) Need to insert more relevant info at the top of the page: • Upcoming events (IRT) • Latest news • On-going surveys • Latest roaming implementations? • New IRT members • 2) Scrolls down a total of 8 pages • Need to create subsections and limit info of each to roughly one page – as much as possible • Highlights • Contacts • Working Group Info • Documentation • Upcoming Meetings • Last Meeting details • White papers List Roaming sub- sections on side-bar

  14. Next steps • Gather input from IRT participants • Coordinate with the CDG IT staff to implement changes • First phase will include changes handled directly by the CDG IT staff • Second phase may be required for more structural changes of the website
