  3. Get the latest documents – OfSTED website • Look up 162A – Independent Schools Inspections – general guidance for schools on the inspection process and completion of the SIEF (Schools Information and Evaluation Form)

  4. Know the critert6iyt6a by which you will be judged Look for self audit check list as whole school As SENCO / Inclusion Manager prepare the documents and be ready to show and tell well USE NATIONAL SENCO CRITERIA

What to have ready • SENCO file – Should explain who gets what and when ….. • File should be self explanatory • So what difference? – What progress from where? to where? – levels/reading ages? • What impact have you made? Effective? • Interventions that you use – how effective? Do they work? Show ! Case studies ready!

  6. Details to have ready • About the provision? (SENCO File) • About the learners (penpictures/ summaries) • Learners views (summary info) • About the parents and carers (views)

  7. Be ready to show • How you influence & work with colleagues? • How you influence and work with leaders? • How you make a difference? • Data? Progress? Impact? Stories?
