  3. A little story… • In this story Dr. Watson for the first meets Sherlock Holmes and he recognizes his properities. Dr. Watson has financial problems and looking for a new roommate. This is of course Sherlock Holmes. In this story they both tries to resolve a mystery about bloody word on the wall Rache …

  4. A Study in Scarlet, 1887 • His first story about Sherlock Holmes is A Study in Scarlet. The novel for the first appeared in a magazine called Beeton´s Christmas Annul in 1887.

  5. Beeton's Christmas Annual • Beeton's Christmas Annual was a paperback magazine printed in England yearly between 1860 and 1898, founded by Samuel Orchart Beeton. The November 1887 issue contained a novel by Arthur Conan Doyle entitled A Study in Scarlet[1] which introduced the characters Sherlock Holmes and his friend Watson

  6. First book edition • First book edition by Ward , Lock & Cowas pusblished in July 1888 with illustrations by Charles Doyle, father of Arthur Conan Doyle.

  10. The film from 1933 • In 1933 director Edwin L. Marin filmed again A Study in Scarlet • The film starring Reginald Owen as Sherlock Holmes and Anna May Wong as Mrs. Pyke

  11. The other films • The film has been remaked many times for example in 1968. • It is an animated adaptation of this novel too. • The last version is from 2010 as TV series called A Study in Pink
