  2. EndNote is a Citation Management Program • search online bibliographic databases and retrieve selected references • Store, manage, and search references later • organize figures—including charts, tables, pictures • create bibliographies • Cite While You Write

  3. Include references to Internet sites, images and other media

  4. Baystate Access • Purchase software version 4 through IS, who will install on individual Baystate PCs • Residents or Tufts Clinical Faculty may access EndNote Web through Tufts Hirsch Library’s subscription to Web of Knowledge database

  5. Go to Hirsch Library Web Site

  6. See the link to “My EndNote Web” at the top

  7. Register once and you’re done

  9. STEP 1 • To Open EndNote on your computer: • From the Start menu, choose Programs • Choose EndNote

  10. To open an existing library, click file cabinet icon from “File” dialog box

  11. Change sort order

  12. Select reference to copy, edit etc

  13. Create Your Own Groups

  14. Set Display Preferences

  15. Entering References: Manually or Import

  16. “Medline Format”: Save file

  17. Within EndNote, import file into your library reference list
