Grade Plus Policy • Students will receive one report card with numerical scores and standards based scores. • Reading, English, & Math • Traditional numeric grade, and • Standards based scores (1, 2, 3, or 4) • Science & Social Studies • Traditional numeric grade only
Formative Assessments Formative Assessments will receive a standards-based score as outlined in the below rubric.
Summative Grading Policy • These assessments are used to measure student mastery of standards. • Summative grades are posted in Parent Portal. These grades will serve as the culminating report card grade. • The Grading Scale • A = 90 - 100 • B = 80 - 89 • C = 70 - 79 • F = Below 70
Homework Students will have approximately 1 hour of homework each day, including 20 minutes of “free choice” reading. Daily assignments should be record nightly in your child's agenda. Agendas should NOT be blank.
