  1. World Cup Made By: Mais Al-Reem Abdellhai Hammoud Grade 7C

  2. Choose a FIFA to research and communicate when and where the competition was held. Communicate this in your introduction In 1994, the World Cup was held across nine cities in the United States. The game that I am going to talk about was held in Rose Bowl, Los Angeles and the two teams were Romania vs. Colombia. That game happened in the 18th of June 1994 at 16:30.

  3. Who were the finalists, who won, include the score. The two teams who became finalist were Italy and Brazil. Brazil won by 3-2 on penalties. They did that happened because no one made any goals so they had 5 times to make a goal and so they got 3-2 and brazil won.

  4. Using the internet research the actual game itself and answer the following questions? • What was the scoring sequence? The scoring sequence was like this: In minute 16` Florin Raducioiu scored a goal and made the scoring 1-0 In the minute 34` Gheorghe Hagi scored a goal and made the scoring 2-0 In the minute 43` Adolfo Valencia scored a goal and made the scoring 2-1 In the minute 88` Florin Raducioiu scored another goal and Romania won 3-1

  5. Choose 1 of the goals and describe using Football terminology the sequence of play leading up to the goal. I choose the goal that Gheorghe Hagi scored. It began like this: Dan Petresco passed the ball to Gheorghe Hagi and then he shoots and he scores a goal. Colombia was going to get the ball but he shoot it in the right time.   6. What could the defense have done to more effectively try and stop the goal being scored? The defense should have stayed near the goal keeper so that Romania could not score a goal. If they tried to stop Hagi from scoring by staying behind him.

  7. Using the same scoring sequence what individual skills have been used by the attacking team? They could have tried to make a off the ball but they did not. I do not think that anything happened.

  8. Was there any movement ‘off the ball’ by other attackers to draw defenders away from the goal scorer? If yes what happened and what was the effect of this? They did not make any movements off the ball.
