  1. Why is it Important To Have a Strong Core? What is a strong core on the body and why is it important to have one? The core of the body is well-known to be our abdominals, which is correct. The entire core is your upper, lower, and side abdominals. Also a part of your core is your glutes and the muscles surrounding the spine. When these muscles are strong, the rest of your body can then become stronger. Having a six-pack is nice for our confidence and pleasing to the eye, but there is multitude of reasons why it is valuable. Improvements you should gradually notice will be in your balance, body control, and posture. Stability and balance are reliant on your core. When you are on an unsteady surface, you are initiating muscles from the core to keep yourself upright. The more you are developing the core, the easier exercising will be and will give you room to experiment with challenging movements. There is less of a chance that you will be injured when you are able to control your body and keep your balance. A weak core increases your chance of injury from falling. Not one thought of too much, but your posture is dependent on your core strength. A strong core will keep you upright. If you can feel yourself hunching over, that is due to weak core. With solid posture, you are protecting your spine from strain and future damage. All of your everyday tasks and your hobbies rely on a strong core. It allows you to twist and turn in all directions. It’s helpful when doing laundry, to play sports, to garden. Dancers of all sorts rely heavily on a strong core because it is important for explosive movement and body control. All movement starts from the core then supports extended movement from it, making exercise targeting the legs and arms safer and give you a better range of motion. Core strength can be found throughout every move you make, so why not keep it strong to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
