What is Single Sign On? Single Sign On (SSO) is a system to open HRConnect, LeaveTraq, and other applications you are authorized to use. • Only one entry point • Only one login • Only one password

Benefits of Single Sign On • Ease of going from application to application without logging off and on again • Protects your identity by use of a Universal Identification Number (UIN) rather than your Social Security Number • Faster access to your important information
As a New Employee Your SSO or Department Administrator will either: • Set up your one-time (temporary) password OR • Provide you with your UIN and ADLOC so you can set your own account
Already Created One-time Password If your SSO or Department Administrator has already created your one-time (temporary) password, you will: • Logon to the Internet and enter https://sso.tamu.edu in your browser • Enter your UIN and click “Use your one-time (temporary) password” • Follow the steps in the SSO Wizard
SSO Wizard The SSO Wizard is an online helper to assist you with the logon process The Wizard covers several topics: • New Employee – Set up your password • I forgot my password • Use your one-time (temporary) password
Use One-time (temporary) Password Select Language Preference Enter your UIN 914002535 Select “Help” as appropriate Click “Use your one-time (temporary) password”
Create your own password If your SSO or Department Administrator requests you create your own account, you will: • Ask them for your UIN and ADLOC (Note: A work or personal email address is required) • Logon to the Internet and enter https://sso.tamu.edu in your browser • Click “New Employee - Set up your password” • Follow the steps outlined in the SSO Wizard
New Employee - Set up Password Select Language Preference Enter your UIN 914002535 Click “New Employees – Set up your password” If you have not been assigned one
New Employees and First Time Users • The SSO Wizard guides you through the necessary steps to set up your account including the Statement of Responsibility • SSO allows you to click “Next” to continue, “Previous” and “Finish” when applicable, or “Cancel” to end the application at anytime • A “SSO Logoff” button is located on the upper right corner of all pages for ease in logging off the system
Setup for New Employees and First Time Users Click “SSO Logoff” to exit SSO Click “Next” to continue Click “Cancel” to end application
After Completing the Wizard Once you have successfully completed the SSO authorization and verification process of the Wizard, the SSO Homepage will appear
SSO Homepage All employees have three selections on the menu bar: • Applications • Profile • Help
SSO Homepage • Some employees have more selections based on their job responsibilities • For convenience, each page contains your name, UIN, ADLOC, and date when you last logged on
Applications From the Applications page you can select: • “Profile” or “Help” from the menu bar • Your authorized application/s • “SSO Logoff”

Profile Page The Profile page allows you to change and verify your: • Email address • Secret Question • Secret Answer • Password
Profile Page Change and verify email This is the “Profile” Page Change Secret Question Change Secret Answer Change and verify Password Click “Save” when finished
Help Page The Help page allows you to: • Click “Online Help” for assistance • Email a question to your SSO or Department Administrator

Logging Off SSO To logoff all applications and close SSO: Click on the “SSO Logoff” button in the upper right hand corner
