Animation, Warner Home Video, New Line Cinema, TheWB.com, and DC Entertainment. • Warner owns half of The CW Television Network
Cross Media and convergence and synergy • WB have worked with many other companies in the past such as Paramount Pictures, Shangri-La Entertainment, Universal Pictures and especially New Line Cinema making many famous films such as • -A nightmare on Elm Street • -Hall Pass • -The conjouring • -We're the Millers • and are planning to make many more films with New Line Cinema such as Horrible Bosses 2. • Media convergence has many advantages as well as disadvantages such as increased advertisement, but sharing credit and profit. • Synergy is important as it helps advertise the company such as the WB shops that sell products related to the films made by the company.
Warner Brothers Pictures and technology (in the films) Gravity is a film by WB which is set entirely in space. The film was shown in 3D which makes sense as the genre and setting of the film means there were lots of parts which could be 3D. It makes the audience feel part of the film. All of this is obviously computer generated which uses complex technology such as certain software and skilled workers. How did they do it?

Netflix and other online websites allow WB films to be assessable even without leaving the house so that they can be enjoyed anywhere, rather than just the cinema.
