Warner Brothers Entertainment INC, is a fully integrated broad based conglomerate. It was founded in 1923 by four brothers; Harry, Albert, Sam and Jack Warner. It is considered one of the largest and most influential movie studios of all time, Warner Brothers is one of Hollywood's oldest and most successful production studios in existence.

  3. A BRIEF HISTORY Warner Brothers took the next step and released The Jazz Singer. THE FIRST FEATURE- LENGTH PART- TALKIE Warner brothers was a pioneer of films with synchronized sound ’talkies’ in May 1925, Sam and Harry heard the first sounds of ‘talking pictures’ in New York. Sam, self taught in mechanics instantly saw the potential of this new technology. In 1907, they opened their first Theatre, The Cascade, in New Castle, Pensylvania In 1903, they brought a kinetoscope made by Thomas Edison. The brothers began in the film business as travelling exhibitors, moving throughout Ohio. One of the first pictures they showed was The Great Train Robbery In 1940s the Warner animation division was founded. Warnerscreated the blue print for the modern-day superhero movie with 1978’s ‘Superman’, Christopher Reeve and 1989’s ‘Batman’, Michael Keaton. Both titles published by DC Comics.

  4. In 2001 , Warner Bros began releasing the film adaptations of the Harry Potter Novels that have become the highest grossing film series of all time. In 2009, Warner Bros became the first studio in history to gross more than $2 billion domestically in a single year. WARNER BROTHERS have produced over 7,000 movies and around 5,000 TV shows. The studio also leases its various lots to fellow studios, television networks and independent projects, Friends, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time called Warner Bros home for 10 years, In 2006 , Warner Bros and CBS joined forces and launched the CW Television Network.
