Community Information Station • Problem: Tulsans do not know about or have ready access to resources. • The services exist, and 2-1-1 has a comprehensive database and call center to connect the public and provider. • Despite marketing efforts 2-1-1 remains underused.
Community Information Station • Plan: To place kiosks in targeted locations throughout the city, using the 2-1-1 database. • People will be able to search for and find the services they need, in convenient locations. • Expected results: • Reduced travel costs • Increased use of services=increased quality of life=better overall health • Cost effective!
