  4. Objectives • Introduction to the College of Agriculture and its academic departments and programs • Assist you with understanding academic policies and procedures • Examine career opportunities, current issues, and priorities in the food, agricultural, environment, and natural resources

  5. Course Organization • AGR 101 is a shared course between the College of Agriculture and its academic departments and programs • College portion is offered 2:30, 3:30, and 4:30, departmental portion is offered Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

  6. Course Organization • It is important that you follow your class schedule as outlined by your academic advisor. “Do not switch academic departments” • Course meets during the first eight weeks of the semester

  7. Enrollment Confirmation • Confirm enrollment for the Fall Semester • Go to myPurdue and complete the enrollment confirmation located in the center of the home page • Subject to cancellation of registration at the end of this week  

  8. Response System for AGR101 during Lectures: • Purchase ‘clicker’ if you do not already have one from a previous class - $25. • Register ‘clicker’ on the Blackboard Vista. Required by Monday, September 1 http://www.itap.purdue.edu/tlt/blackboard/

  13. AGR 101 Attendance • Print Your Name On Appropriate Line Leave Empty Seats Blank • Record Your Row Location and Number of Seats From Aisle Including Empty Ones • Return to Your Location Next Tuesday

Adobe Connect Tutoring • Beginning September 8th students will be able to connect with a tutor for MA 220 and MA 223 • Tutors will be Honors and Dean’s Scholar students within the College of Agriculture • Tutors will have taken either MA 220 or MA 223 or completed the more advanced calculus series
