  2. Touch Screen Telephone • Telephone with touch-screen portable PC • Desktop telephone with handset, speaker, and phone keypad • Scroll keys and keyboard • Electronic telephone directory systems

  3. A Phone With Many Features • It is a telephone and does all the usual telephone stuff • Screen display: • Languages: in which a phone is capable of displaying information • Paying methods: coins/credit cards • Stopwatch: allows to time event using the phone

  4. Screen Display (cont…) • World time: allows to see the time of day in major international cities • PC connectivity: an optional accessory available that allow to do activities such as accessing the internet, sending or receiving email

  5. Screen Display (cont…) • Telephone directory systems • Live picture with other parties • One touch Emergency Dialing: allow to press and hold to dial 911 in an emergency

  6. Text messages • The ability of the phone to send and receive text messages • Typing e-mail messages by using the keyboard

  7. The Design Goals: • Ready to go right out of the box • It includes an integrated plug-and-play html • Preprogrammed internet access through nationwide ISP • Easy to use • Quick and convenience
