The Story • 2007 Gilt Launched by Alexis ( Co-founder of E-bay)and Alexandra (Bvlgari and Louis Vuitton) • Took the New York Invitation Sample sales and brought it to the Internet! • Made what was once available to New Yorkers accessible to the Country • High Fashion made affordable! (kind of)
Become a Member! • Invitation Only Shopping to Men’s, Women’s and children’s luxury fashion brands up to 70% off retail prices. • Invites come from already Gilt members, or subscribing fashion magazines (eg: Elle, Lucky, GQ) • Each sale lasts at least 36 hours which features selected styles from a designer
Sales and Previews • All sales happen at Gilt.com • Start of sales at 12:00 pm eastern on selected days • Today: Vivienne Tam, Botkier, Ivanka Trump jewelry, Gordon Rush and KZO • To introduce a new brand or designer, a brief biography about the designer will be given to introduce upcoming sales and must-haves!
