De eerste casus (Individueel) • Stel u krijgt twee momenten te zien van de start van een 3 VMBO-klas, waarin 90% van de leerlingen allochtoon is (75% Marokkaans) • In de ene les staat een ervaren mannelijke docent met een autochtone achtergrond voor de klas • In de andere klas een jonge vrouwelijke docente met een Turkse achtergrond • WAT VERWACHT U TE ZIEN??? Het ‘Reflective Journal’ “What I learned the most is how I'm feeling here [in Turkey] I can understand now how it feels for a foreigner in Holland, the dificulties with the culture and the language. Now I was for a moment the foreigner and tried to make my self clear. People don't understand what you are saying and there is a lot of miscommunication. Een andere reactie… “I must trie to learn more about the different social classes in the society. because I'm a man who has turkish parents and i'm born in Holland. but I have not good contact with Dutch people and their problems. And when I will be a teacher i must learn more about these things but not only over Dutch people but also over people from Africa or Asia etc etc.” VELON-congres 2008 "Kennis maken.
