  3. Grading an Assignment – Rubrics/Marking Guide • A rubric consists of a set of criteria, each with several levels. The grade is calculated based on the levels selected. • A marking guide is an advanced grading method where a teacher enters a comment per criterion and a mark up to a maximum.
