OBJECTIVES: -To introduce Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation in the DIETS. -To strengthen school internship program. - To integrate assessment with teaching learning process. -To develop the assessment tools for Pre-service teacher.
PLAN OF ACTION: Activities : -Developing the questionnaire in connection with the assessment practices. - Questionnaire will be distributed to all those involve in the project. - Observation on classroom practices and seekingopinion from student teacher regarding assessment procedure. -Analysis and Interpretation of Data.
-Development of the suggestive Tool based on the findings. Try out the assessment tool in DIET Thadlaskien. -Incorporating the suggestion and feedback for improving the assessment tool.
PARTICIPANTS: -Principals DIETS. -Faculties from the DIETS those involve in Pre-Service teacher training program, -Evaluation unit of DERT -In-Step participants.
MY ROLE AND IN-STEP PARTICIPANTS.-Briefing the program.-Conducting and initiating meeting ,workshops, training, field-visit.- Developing questionnaire, analyzing andinterpretation the data.- writing reports.

Who will benefit:Accountable to NCFTE-2009The DIETS will have a new direction to the new system of assessment practices.Students teachers performance will be assessed continuously and hence immediate feedback will be given to them in their learning.The student teacher will help them in their further learning.Increase assessment competency and confidence of teacher.Bring about a reform in our teacher preparation program.
