  3. A Growing Church “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 Acts 6:7 “word of God increased” “number of disciples multiplied” “great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.”

  4. Definitions Grow = expand, increase, enlarge, mature Church Not the building The People Matt.16:18 “I will build my church” Acts 2:47 “added to the church”

  6. Healthy Atmosphere Spirit of love & Unity Love one another Mt. 22:39 – love neighbour as self 1 Jn.4:19-21 – love God ~ love brother “We are one in the Spirit” Jn. 13:34-35 “By this all will know” Unity – Friendly – Hospitality Worship – Scriptural - Jn. 4:24

  7. Sound Doctrine “But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.” Titus 2:1 Sound = healthy 2 Tim 4:1-3 - preach to please God Neither left or right Church will be stable Eph. 4:14 not “tossed to and fro” A Growing church is a Going church

  8. Good Leadership Characteristics • Vision - Pro. 29:18 • Knowledge and Wisdom • Faith and Courage • Enthusiasm and Energy • Service and Humility

  9. What can we do ? Teach lost people Rom. 1:16 “power of God unto salvation” 1 Cor. 3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” Team of Evangelism You Never Mentioned Him to Me
