To Be Competitive You Should Consider: • Minimum Total GPA of 3.0 • For UC’s, Private & Impacted CSU’s • Impacted Schools: All CSU’s but 5 are impacted! • You must CHALLENGE yourself each year!!!!

10th Grade Counseling Appointments • Call LHS between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. to schedule an appointment (209-887-3073). • DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE! Please speak with an adult LHS representative to make this appointment. • Available dates are March 11, 12, 13, & 14 & and March 18, 19, 20 & 21 (other arrangements can be made). • Available times are 8:30 AM – 11:30 PM. • Spanish advisors are available. • Students will be called out of class for apt.
What’s covered in your counseling appointment? • You will select your courses for next year. • We will review your transcript and credits. • We will discuss options for “life after LHS.” • Your four-year graduation plan will be reviewed. • This is when you should ask questions about graduation and your next steps.

Summer School • Computer based online program-Cyber High • Classes will take place at LHS • June 4th – June 28th • Limited transportation provided • More Information to follow…Stay Tuned • Pass your classes the first time and you won’t have to worry about this!
Advice to soon-to-be Juniors… • Your junior year is the MOST difficult year of the 4 years of high school. • Ask for help early….don’t wait!!! • Complete your work and turn it in on time! • COMMUNICATE!! • Tests – Don’t cram the night before! • Success Shop – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 3:15pm – 4:30pm in the Library and Wednesday & Friday, 7:15am – 8:00am • Wednesdays &Thursdays – Math Tutor
