  5. To Be Competitive You Should Consider: • Minimum Total GPA of 3.0 • For UC’s, Private & Impacted CSU’s • Impacted Schools: All CSU’s but 5 are impacted! • You must CHALLENGE yourself each year!!!!

  6. PSAT • PSAT- Wednesday, October 16, 2019 • Cost of $16 • If you qualify for free and reduced lunch, it is free • Visit the Career Center for more information

  13. CTE Courses & Pathways • All students are encouraged to complete CTE pathways! • More career opportunities are available for pathway completers • Employers want to see that students take higher level CTE classes

  14. Summer School • Computer based online program-Cyber High • Classes will take place at LHS • June 4th – June 28th • Limited transportation provided • More Information to follow…Stay Tuned • Pass your classes the first time and you won’t have to worry about this!

Due Date • All Course Selection Sheets are to be signed by parents and student! • Signed sheets need to be returned Monday, February 4, 2018. • You will need your Student Portal Username & Password to register for your classes. • If you don’t return your signed sheet on Monday, you will NOT register!

Counselor’s Advice….. • Ask for help early….don’t wait!!! • Complete your work and turn it in on time! • Tests – Don’t cram the night before! • COMMUNICATION!!!!! • Success Shop – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 3:15pm-4:30pm & Wednesday, Friday, 7:15am-8:00am in the Library • Wednesdays & Thursdays – Math Tutor • Access Portal – check regularly
