  3. INTRODUCTION • Safety is the condition of being safe from injury or loss. • “Think before you act.” Page 26

  4. Be safety-minded in the shop. • Personal Safety • Technician should be conscious of safety for himself & others around him. Page 26

  5. Dress and Appearance • A tech's dress & appearance reflects on their work. • Rotating Pulleys and Belts ensure safety working around them. • Technician to remove jewelry. • Foot Protection - steel toe work shoes. • Safety Glasses Page 28 • Hand Protection
