With so much water all around us, it can be easy to forget how big a role it plays in our every day life
Perhaps that is why it can be so easy to take advantage of this precious natural resource
The human body is made up of 55-60% water • I for one would like that water to be clean and pure • How about you?
Adults need a minimum of 8 cups of water a day to maintain optimum health. Which water would you rather drink? Option 1 Option 2
One way we can make sure to have clean water is to use less to begin with. • Remember to shut off water when you are not using it. • Can you think of any times when you may not need to use as much water? • Using less water helps to conserve water on earth
Water takes many forms and travels in many places. We must make sure to keep all places clean in order to maintain a clean water supply. We must make sure not to pollute our water supply
We are not the only ones who depend on water to survive. • Everything does • We are just one part in a whole system of organisms • We depend on the health of many other things in order for our own survival
It is both the little and the big things that make a difference • Conservation • Cleanliness
Water has a long way to travel before it comes through your faucet.
It plays many important roles on the earth • Precipitation • Condensation
