O-3001 • Responsibility to DIRECT the aircraft safely • Assist the pilot to safely refuel his aircraft • Part the aircraft where it will not interfere with operation of other aircraft • Verify you know where to stand when directing an aircraft • Know the proper arm and hand signals • Know how to communication with Supervisor
TASK O - 3002 • Five Flight Line Safety Precautions • No saluting • NO SMOKING • No running • No horseplay • No walking backwards
TASK O - 3003 • Requirements for Vehicles on Flight Line • Keep CAP vehicles to a minimum • Approach from the rear • Stop vehicle when aircraft movement • Pull off taxiway • Comm radio only • Must be authorized by IC
TASK O - 3004 • Flight Line Security • Always vigilant • You may politely ask non-CAP people if you can be of assistance • Other people may be just going to their aircraft • Call the Flight Line Supervisor if you see someone doing something • Be alert and observant. • Just hanging around, tampering with aircraft, breaking in aircraft or hanger
