Tropical Desert Temperate • Temperature- The average Temperature is normally in the high 80’s low 90’s • Rainfall- in the summer-249 mm. min., 426mm. max. in the winter- 1mm. Min. 21mm. Max. • Temperature-the average temperature is normally in the low 90’s and low 70’s • Rainfall- summer- 80mm., min. 180mm., max , winter- 0mm., min, 20mm., max • Temperature-the average temperature is normally in the mid-high 70’s low 80’s • Rainfall- summer- 41mm., min, 49mm., max. winter- 37mm., min. 47mm., max Weather Variations
Temperate- Desert- Tropical- • this region does not get a lot of rainfall, but has nice weather and warm temperatures. • the deserts in Australia get little to no rain during the summer. It is hot and humid also • Temperature- gets plenty of rain with moderate tempuratures Type of Weather in the Zones
Tropical- Deserts- Temperate- • Vegetation-eucalyptus trees in wetter areas, red, sandy soil. • Vegetation- fruit trees, clay soil, creeping spinifex. • Vegetation- gorges to prevent fires, fire sensitive plants and animals. Environments of the Zones
Life in the zones Is life different? Life living in these zones should not be that much different from each other, you just have to be careful with temperature, sometimes it might get to hot. • In the deserts you have to make sure you drink a lot of water so you don’t get dehydrated, and in the tropics wear the right clothing for the temperature so you don’t over heat.
