Mathis Wackernagel • Global Footprint Network • Global footprint measures how much land and water area a human populations uses. • Includes consumptive and productive uses. • Used as a resource for areas around the globe to try and curb consumption to a sustainable level. • Right now the world consumes approximately 5.4 acres per person, but only 4.4 are truly available or sustainable. • Visit http://ecofoot.org to find your global footprint!

  6. Jared and Billy Cont’d • Three Choices • Deny The Truth • Despair and hope that someone else will fix it. • Build the most inspiring movement in history to stop global warming. • We need to do something because this is going to happen within our lifetimes if we don’t act now.

  7. Laurie David • Producer, “Earth To America”, “Too Hot Not to Handle”, “An Inconvenient Truth.” • Global warming is the most urgent challenge of our lifetime. • According to the experts we have less than 10 years to slow global warming down before it is too late.
