  1. PCH Facility Inquiry on KAMES A Step-by-step Guide to Using KAMES Inquiry for Personal Care Homes

  2. Begin by selecting option B Inquiry from the KAMES Main Menu

  3. From the Inquiry Menu, select option I Provider File. Then, enter an “X” in the PCH/FCH field, and enter the county number of the facility you are searching for.

  4. This is the first page of the PCH/FCH listing for this county. You can page forward to see additional listings by pressing your F8 key.

  5. Facility numbers are listed here. If a PCH is not found on this listing, it is not a DMS licensed facility.

  6. Conclusion • Personal Care Home listings can be found under KAMES Inquiry, option I. • The information you need from this listing is that the provider is licensed (found on this listing), and the Provider Number for the facility. • Enter the Provider Number on KAMES system to issue payments to the facility. • Even though this listing is titled “PCH/FCH”, Family Care Homes are not listed.
