  3. WHERE ARE WE?1.- Zhomba Mission in Gokwe Diocese2.- St Charles Luanga Parish in Harare Archdiocese.

  4. Ruwa Parish St. Charles Luwanga Parish was Established and handed over to us on July 2007 Therefore it is a young Parish. Before it was an out-station from Chishawasha Mission. The Second Catholic Mission in Zimbabwe, commended to the Jesuits

  5. Ruwa is a township 25 km far from Harare Town With a very active Christian Community With a diverse population. Mainly medium and low class. But also with a part still poor and needed of help.

  6. The Parish has four out-stations, that are attended and integrated in the pastoral care of the Parish

  7. The parish has also a school with primary and secondary education

  8. Zhomba Mission Our Mission was established in March 2005. It is a very young parish

  9. Zhomba Mission, is a rural parish settle in a very poor area of the country. Far from development but with a very rich local culture.

  10. The Mission is divided into three sub-parishes Simuchembo, Nenyunga and Madzivazvido (Every sub-parish has 6 out-stations) Every out-station is subdivided in Small Christian Communities, up to 50 of them (SCC).

  11. Reflexology therapy program • It started in 2010 • There are seven trained therapists.

  12. Diocesan Catechetical Delegation • The bishop has given to the Claretians Community the Diocesan Catechetical Delegation. • School of voluntary catechists. • Translation of the C.C.C. and the publication of the translation in four different books. • Creation of a Pedagogic Catechism following the “existential methodology”. It has been published in Shona.

  13. In both parishes we promote lay ministries like: Pastoral Councils and Community leadership communion givers Sunday Service Leaders catechists

  14. There are also Committees for Justice and Peace and Caritas in each Community

  15. Catholic Youth Association Missionary Childhood There are Lays’ Associations like: St. Anne’s women association St.Joseph’s men association

  16. FORMATIONOne Postulant studying Philosophy.One Candidate studying English and being introduced to claretian spirituality

  17. VOCATION PROMOTION IS OUR PRIORITY.
