Jessica Ashley Kahal Reminisces the Wonderful Time she had Performed at the Kennedy Center • Jessica Ashley Kahal shares that she got this opportunity while touring with her high school choir, called “Varsity Voices,” to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia • She was in the Woman’s Jazz Chorus, called “Here Comes Treble” • She talks about some of her fondest memories from her musical journey so far • She says that her performance at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation will always be very special for her
Jessica as a Skilled Choir Performer • She has been a part of several choir groups including Varsity Voices, Here Comes Treble, and more • She has performed solo on several occasions and was even chosen as the featured flutist and student conductor in a concert at the Armstrong Theater • Jessica also performed on “America the Beautiful” and “This is My Country” with her high school choir in a candlelight memorial for the September 11th attacks • She chose her all-time favorite “Danny Boy” for her solo flute performance on this emotion-charged date
