  5. SELF-REGISTRATION TO REGISTER, FROM THE WELCOME PAGE: • FROM THE EMPLOYERS SECTION, SELECT REGISTER • COMPLETE ALL APPLICABLE FIELDS AND SELECT SUBMIT

SELF REGISTRATION • THE EMPLOYER REGISTRATION SCREEN REQUIRES THE ENTRY OF BASIC CONTACT AND INDUSTRY INFORMATION. • 18 MANDATORY FIELDS (19 IF E-MAIL IS CHOSEN AS THE PREFERRED MODE OF CORRESPONDENCE). • (*) INDICATES MANDATORY FIELD. • THERE ARE UNIQUE IDENTIFYERS FOR THE EMPLOYER REGISTRATION. NO TWO EMPLOYERS MAY HAVE THE SAME: • PHONE NUMBER • USER ID

  7. EMPLOYER LOG-IN • AN EMPLOYER MUST BE REGISTERED AND APPROVED BEFORE HE/SHE CAN LOG-IN TO THE EMPLOYER HOME PAGE AND RECEIVE SERVICES, (EXCEPT FOR LABOR MARKET INFORMATION ).

  8. EMPLOYER REGISTRATION • ONCE THE REGISTRATION IS SUBMITTED, A NOTICE IS SENT TO THE EMPLOYER WHO SELECTED E-MAIL AS THE PREFERRED MODE OF CORRESPONDENCE. THE NOTICE ADVISES THE EMPLOYER THAT APPROVAL OF THE REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY BEFORE THEY CAN LOG-IN.

  9. EMPLOYER REGISTRATION • APPROVAL – OSS SHOULD REVIEW THE REGISTRATION FOR ACCURACY AND APPROVE IT IMMEDIATELY. • REJECTION – AN INITIAL REGISTRATION MAY BE REJECTED. GENERALLY THIS OCCURS IF DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICES HAS BEEN INITIATED AGAINST THE EMPLOYER BY AWI (20 CFR 658.501). REJECTING A REGISTRATION DELETES THE REGISTRATION FROM OSMIS.

  12. EDIT PROFILE • Editing a profile changes the registration status to Under Review. As long as the employer is logged into the application he/she can continue to work with employer features. • If the employer logs out of the application, he/she will not be able to log back in until the registration is approved by OSS

  13. CREATE JOB ORDER • FROM THE NAVIGATION MENU, SELECT: CREATE JOB ORDER. ENTER ALL APPLICABLE INFORMATION AND “SAVE”. (A JOB ORDER CAN ALSO BE CREATED FROM THE HOME PAGE). • THE JOB ORDER CONSISTS OF 4 PAGES. (*) INDICATES MANDATORY FIELD. • WHEN THE EMPLOYER ENTERS OR MAKES A CHANGE TO A JOB ORDER, THE REGISTRATION GOES UNDER REVIEW AND MUST BE APPROVED BY OSS.

  15. JOB ORDER SEARCH • FROM THE NAVIGATION MENU, SELECT JOB ORDER SEARCH. JOB ORDERS LISTED BY THIS EMPLOYER, REGARDLESS OF STATUS, WILL DISPLAY.

  16. SEARCH FOR JOB SEEKERS • An employer can only search job seekers who have a resume(s) on file. Under no circumstances can an employer view a job seeker’s registration. • If a job seeker requested in his/her registration to be excluded from employer searches, the resume will not display in the applicant search.

  17. SEARCH FOR JOB SEEKERS • SELECT THE SEARCH FOR JOB SEEKERS LINK • ENTER SEARCH CRITERIA AND SELECT SEARCH • SEARCHES 1. EXACT O’NET CODE, 2. THE FIRST SIX DIGITS OF THE SIMILAR O’NET CODES AND 3.THE FIRST SIX DIGITS OF THE RELATED O’NET CODES.

  18. RECALL JOB SEEKER SEARCH • FROM NAVIGATION MENU, SELECT SEARCH FOR JOB SEEKERS • ENTER THE SEARCH CRITERION • SELECT SAVE AND NAME THE SEARCH

EVENTS CALENDARAN OVERVIEW • AN EMPLOYER CAN VIEW INFORMATION ON THE CALENDAR • AN EMPLOYER CAN ADD NO INFORMATION TO THE CALENDAR • THE CATEGORIES OF CALENDAR EVENTS THAT MAY BE VIEWED ARE: TRAINING, MEETINGS, INTERVIEWS, JOB FAIRS. ALL EVENTS MAY BE VIEWED SIMULTANEOUSLY. • EVENTS MAY BE VIEWED STATEWIDE OR BY A SPECIFIC REGION.

  20. LABOR MARKET INFORMATION • THE LMI LINK WILL REDIRECT THE USER TO AN EXTERNAL PAGE FOR LMI. WWW.LABORMARKETINFO.COM • USER MAY BE LINKED TO LMI FROM THE HOME PAGE OR FROM THE NAVIGATION MENU.

  21. VIEW SERVICES PROVIDED • TO VIEW SERVICES PROVIDED (SELF-SERVICES & SERVICES PROVIDED BY OSS), SELECT VIEW SERVICES FROM NAVIGATION MENU. • SERVICES MAY NOT BE EDITED BY THE EMPLOYER.

  22. REQUEST SERVICES • AN EMPLOYER MAY REQUEST SERVICES. • REQUESTS ARE FORWARDED TO A PRE-DESIGNATED OSS.  TO REQUEST SERVICES • SELECT VIEW SERVICES PROVIDED • SELECT REQUEST SERVICES.

  23. SATISFACTION SURVEY • A NEW SATISFACTION SURVEY MAY BE COMPLETED BY OSS OR BY THE CUSTOMER • SURVEYS MAY BE VIEWED • CHRONOLOGICALLY –THE MOST RECENT SURVEY. • ALPHABETICALLY –THE MOST RECENT SURVEY.
