  1. Drawing Project- Value Study Small sketchbook, full page Due Friday 9/6 end of class

  2. Value Scale • Value= shading • dark-light • pressure changes value • using multiple pencils and tools • BLENDING- tortillions and blending stumps

  3. Still Life • Drawing from observation • Objects set up on the table for you to look at • Draw what you SEE, not what you know • copy cat

  4. combine 2 origami objects into one composition

  5. Highlights, shadows, table/surface, cast shadow, clean edges 100!!

  6. Origami Still Life-SHADING! • Pick at least 2 origami objects to combine into 1 still life setting • Cut and fold your own origami forms • Stand them up on a blank sheet of paper • Tape in place so they stand on their own • Look for great shadow placements! • http://en.origami-club.com/
