  3. Meeting Time • Candidates: • Friday 2-3pm • Friday 3-4pm • Friday 4-5pm (default)

  4. Changes This Quarter • Focus on high-level ideas, not details. • Survey, not peruse. • Pre-determined paper list (mostly from MobiCom 2008, a few from NSDI 2008 and HotNets for now). • No free riders. 

  5. Presentation Format • 3 papers each week, 15 min each (+ 5 min cushion for Q&A). • Freeform (slides, whiteboard, etc.). • Minimal preparation. • If using slides, limit the # of slides. • Presenters, please provide 3-5 lines of paper summary to schoi@cs.

  6. Current Paper List • 12 papers from MobiCom 2008 • 3 papers from NSDI 2009 • 4 papers from HotNets VII (2008) • Suggestions? • Should we add voluntary presentation slots?

  7. Sign Up for Presentations Today • At least 2 papers per person. Ideally 3 per person. • wiki password: uclanrg
