EEGS Rounds: 3 (2011-2012) Amount:Capped at $500,000 per school, (depends on school proposal) Duration: one-off grant : school may expend in 1 or 2 years
Aim of EEGS 1) to strengthen the learning and teaching of Englishin primary schools 2) to achievesustainable effects after the completion of the Scheme
Accounting arrangement a designated bank account is preferable If spending exceeds $500,000: -top up with other funding (subject to the rules governing the other funding sources)
Changes of plan • Changes of the approved plan: -seekprior approval from EDB 7
Accountability of schools -evaluation & reporting • Implementation Plan b. Progress & Final Reports c. Financial Report & Original Receipts
Implementation plan endorsed by SMC / IMC uploaded onto school webpagebefore end-October of next year
About the uploading • Location: School Plans / School documents • Including: Plan details Budget • Optional: Present state of play School-based SWOT 10
Progress and Final Report A template will be sent to school via e-mail endorsed by SMC / IMC uploaded onto school webpagebefore end-November of next year send a copy to EDB
