  5. THE FORM OF THE THIRD CONDITIONAL If + past perfect, would + have + past participle

  6. EXAMPLES

  7. If I hadn’t been stopped by the police, I would have arrived at the meeting on time.

  8. I’d have taken a photo of that beautiful sunset if I had had my camera on me.

  9. I wouldn’t have broken my leg if I hadn’t climbed that tree last week.
