  7. RESULTADOS TRATAMIENTOS DE FUNGICIDAS PARA EL CONTROL DE TIZÓN TARDIO EN PAPA. CIRNO. 2006-07. Lote de papa var. Fiana del Lic. Oscar Urrea; siembra 21 de dic., 2006; Localidad Tres Carlos, Valle del Mayo. Se realizaron 4 aplicaciones en las fechas 10 y 19 de febrero; 8 y 14 de marzo. El inicio a la primera lesión.

RESULTADOS HERBICIDAS PREEMERGENTES( ANTES DE QUE EMERJA LA MALEZA Y EL CULTIVO): Prowl (Pendimethalin).....3.5 litros de mat. comercial/ha Prefar (Bensulide)...........10-12 litros de mat. comerc/ha Treflán (Trifluralina)..........2.0 litros de mat. comerc./ha Los dos primeros se incorporan con agua de riego y el tercero con maquinaria como rastra,etc. Controlan generalmente malezas de hoja angosta y hoja ancha como el quelite bledo , verdolaga, no controlan malva. ELprowl controla chual también.

RESULTADOS HERBICIDAS POSTEMERGENTES (DESPUES DE EMERGIDO LA MALEZA Y EL CULTIVO) Sencor (Metribuzin)......0.6 kg de mat. comerc./ha Titus (Rimsulfuron).......70-100 gr. de mat. comerc./h Faena (Glifosato)..........3-4 litros de mat. comerc /ha El Sencor hay que aplicarlo cuando la maleza esté pequeña (5-10 cm de altura) , tiene un control excelente para maleza de hoja ancha anual, incluído el chual. Es selectivo al cultivo, es decir puede aplicarse sobre el cultivo y maleza. El Titus puede aplicarse sobre cultivo y maleza que son mas dificiles de controlar, como: malva, correhuela. en las etapas primeras de desarrollo. NO CONTROLA EL CHUAL. El Faena NO ES SELECTIVO A MALEZA NI AL CULTIVO, solo puede aplicarse dirigido a la maleza , ya sea usando "campana" para que no perjudique a la papa, o bien puede aplicarse antes de que emerja la papa y que la maleza ya haya brotado como la correhuela ,zacate johnson o malezas anuales
