Structure • Two agencies for public assistance • State supervised, county administered
The Numbers • 78% of all Interstate Matches are for the 10 biggest counties • 57% of all Interstate Matches are for the Denver metro area and Colorado Springs
Opportunities • State supervised, county administered • Voluntary for counties • No additional funding/resources to work PARIS matches • Counties determine investigation action
Outreach • Understand procedures for working Matches • Determine which matches are being worked • Feedback on how to improve process
An Opportunity To Make a Change • EBT to require the ten biggest counties to work PARIS Interstate Match • Senate Bill to provide some funding to the counties for PARIS
Accomplishments • Project to identify possible erroneous payments based on PARIS Interstate Match and medical claims data
Accomplishments • Clarified Medicaid rules for VA Pension and Aid & Attendance • Clarified who was paying for prescription drugs for Veterans living in State Veterans Homes
Accomplishments • Project to close CHP+ cases identified on the PARIS Interstate Match
