Background • IRIS is a COTS web-based application developed by Efficient Engineering Enterprise Inc. (Ex3) • The Incident Reporting Information System (IRIS) is the Agency-mandated system for reporting, recording and tracking all NASA mishaps, close calls and post-incident corrective actions. • 367 Active IRIS User Accounts across the Agency http://nsc.nasa.gov/

Upcoming System Changes • Findings tab in the Safety Incident Module • MISO socialized this proposed change with the IRIS POCs • This change has been approved and is pending task award • Implementation is planned for the end of May • Behind this change request are several changes in the customer acceptance environment • JPL modifications to comply with Cal-OSHA requirements • Previous approved Change Requests • Bug Fixes • Ex3’s next generation architecture continues http://nsc.nasa.gov/
IRIS Change Management • The IRIS CCB merged with the MIWG into the Mishap Program Working Group (MPWG) • Drafting a new charter and process for the new group • No additional NSC funding for the Ex3 Contract for additional change requests this year http://nsc.nasa.gov/
