  3. What is Career Cruising? • Useful for students to investigate occupations and resources available in planning for the future • Helps users satisfy five key career guidance needs • Self-assessment • Career exploration • Post-secondary education planning • Work search • Portfolio development

  4. How Will We Use Career Cruising? • Class Registration • Individual Advisement • College Search • Resume Building • Financial resources available

  5. Accessing Career Cruising • Go to www.careercruising.com • Username: FH-Student ID# • Ex: FH-171234 • Password: Birthdate • Ex: 03011997

  6. Create A New Password • You will use the same password you use for Infinite Campus • First initial, last initial, 6 digit birthdate • Ex: js030197

  7. Email Address • Enter district email address or your own personal email address you will access regularly • First initial, last initial, last 3 of id@my.fhsdschools.org • Ex: jsmith123@my.fhsdschools.org • Read through Terms & Conditions, click agree, and submit

  8. Sharing Your Plan • Click on My Plan • Click on Share My Plan • Invite parent/guardian to view your plan. Type in a parent’s email address and hit send. This will send them an activation code to access their parent account.
