4. General Timeline • Research Schools (Fall of Junior year and prior) • Take April ACT • Visit Schools (Summer) • Apply to Schools (September – November) • Financial aid in February/March (after acceptance) • May 1 Enrollment Deadline • May 1 begins registration, orientation and housing process

7. May 1 Deadline • $150 enrollment deposit to confirm your enrollment ($100 for enrollment and summer orientation, $50 for housing deposit) • Extensions are possible in 2-week increments • Refundable prior to May 1 with a written request prior to May 1 • Non-refundable May 1 onward

8. Class Registration • Packets sent mid-April to all students who have confirmed enrollment • Forms completed and returned to with Summer Orientation reservations to Office of Admission • Registration completed during Summer Orientation Day

9. Summer Orientation • Required for all new freshman • Academic component of orientation program • Dates: June and July 2013 • 1st come, 1st served basis

10. Housing Selections • Housing packets mailed to all students who pay enrollment deposit • Residents complete a housing questionnaire • Commuter students complete an exemption form • Housing assignments made on first-come, first-serve basis by date deposit is made • Housing assignments sent beginning in June

WC Scholars Program • Available to full-time, freshmen attending main campus • Must be accepted to the College by December 1 • Cannot be stacked with other academic awards • Competition Based • Invitation only . Invitations sent the first week in December • Competitions held in January and/or February • Renewable by meeting GPA requirement • Recipients must reside on campus

19. Other WC Awards • Legacy up to $3000 • Parent (step), grandparent or sibling graduate of WC • Older sibling currently attending fulltime • Quaker affiliation or graduate of Quaker High School • Multicultural up to $3000 • Quaker Award up to $3000

22. Once You Receive Your Award • Look at aid programs • Look at estimated balance • Within budget? • Conversation with admission counselor for additional funds • Sign and return award notice and any other requested documentation • Visit us again with package

When May 1 Arrives… • Pay Enrollment Deposit of $150 to secure enrollment, housing, and summer orientation • Inform other colleges that you will NOT be enrolling so they can withdraw your admission and financial aid • Prepare for “matriculation” phase • Housing selection • Class registration • Summer orientation

FA Timeline • Now • Seek outside scholarships through www.fastweb.com or www.collegeboard.com and other search sites • Get PIN numbers • Complete federal taxes • Complete FAFSA (January of Senior year) • March - April • Colleges will send financial aid packages • Visit colleges again • Decide by May 1
