About us We are from Jelgava in Latvia. We are studying in Jelgava Secondary School № 6 in 7 form.
Our school • In the school there are 615 students and 59 teachers. • Our school was built in 1978. • The school director is Ilze Arbidane. • We study Russian, Latvian and English.In the 10th form students start studying German language. • In Primary School pupils study Polish.

The nature of Latvia Latvian nature is very beautiful. There are more than 12thousand small and big rivers, there are 2,256 lakes. 56% of the total land area is covered by forests. Latvia has many reservations where people can walk, rest and see different animals in wild.
About Our City - Jelgava • Inhabitants- 64,500 people. • It is a very beautiful town, clean and green. In Jelgava there are many places where young people can go to have fun, to do some sports activities.
Jelgava Palace Jelgava is the city of young people because there is an Agriculture University and many schools. Young people come from different parts of Latvia to study there. The University is a historical building,too.It is the palace, which is situated on the bank of the riverLielupe.
In spring 2012 our city was visited by famous Hollywood actor Jackie Chan who was starring in a new film “Chinese Zodiac” using Aerodium. This Aerodium is the only one in Europe.
