ACCOMODATING THE PRESENCE OF GOD: Text: Psalm 22:1-5 Intro: Heavy people usually needs a seat. An obese person who won’t enter a house without a heavy duty seat for him. I. WHAT IS A PRAISE? A cloud where God could hide His presence lest we die Mat 17:5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"
Exd 33:20 But He said, "You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live." It is the seat that makes God inhabit-v 3 The sacrifice God wants us to offer to Him- Hebr 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
