  2. It can be difficult and really stressful to locate a successful CFI (certified flight instructor); I sometimes liken it to wanting to locate a girlfriend or any other valuable thing. Your instructor 's role is not to be your best buddy (although you're likely to become buddies anyway), your babysitter, or someone to throw all the emotional burdens on (this occurs so often).
